ControlByNet press release distributor ,, a leader in cloud-based, hosted video security surveillance solutions, announced today continual success in providing security and business benefits to its clients including companies, homeowner's associations and commercial properties. “ControlByNet’s cloud-hosted solution has established the new model for video security surveillance,” said Ryan Bizarre, Manager of ControlByNet. “With full cloud capacities, ControlByNet moves CCTV monitoring to a new arena ; including remote hosting, multiple location access – onsite, hosted or any mixture – from a single cloud-based web login and mobile device access.” Making an Organizational Solution with Security on the Cloud Many associations including house owner's associations, small to middle size enterprises and office complexes and facilities still depend on DVRs for their security wishes. Often these DVRs are spread out over multiple locations, running on rebranded software providing the customer with an one-size fits all product ; with no ability to link them together, centralize user access or monitor uptime or Problems until an event happens.

Denver Children’s Specialists moved from separate DVRs to ControlByNet’s solution to observe its six locations all though Colorado. ControlByNet’s solution is based upon its i-flashback software. In the past, remote video access included downloaded front-end applications run from an onsite PC, with onsite storage and multiple logins for different sites. ControlByNet’s i-flashback provides an easy to utilize, 100-percent browser-based application. “We are continually looking to utilize the most up to date in technology to enhance our efficiencies and capabilities,” related Jonathan Lee, partner in Denver Children’s Consultants. “ControlByNet provides us with the full benefits of having our security ‘on the cloud ‘ including remote hosting, multiple location access from a single web login and access on mobile devices. It is an company solution vs the general model of many independent solutions being patched together which we would have liked to avoid.” Key benefits and savings for the locations exploiting i-flashback REMOTE include :

  • no onsite recording devices needed in several examples
  • key cameras recorded offsite, which is critical for security when onsite video may be compromised or ‘disconnected ‘
  • grouping of remote cameras from different locations together thru a browser interface ; saving significant time in viewing / monitoring and enhanced simplicity of use.

With multiple locations, ControlByNet’s capability to centrally link together Denver Children’s Specialists locations with a single login took away the exasperating problem of recalling many various links or IP addresses for video access.

All CCTV monitoring servers, regardless if hosted by ControlByNet or at a Denver Children’s Consultants site, are linked or ‘attached’ to each other making allowance for centrally managed user accounts. This offers a true single web sign-on with levels of access for each of the employees. The manager at each location can see just his site, while the regional executive can see his area sites and the partners can see all of the sites as dictated by the security office, all from one login and company web address. Both solutions allow a central management system which saves money and provides larger control of the organizational security. Beyond Security ControlByNet has worked closely with front runners in the recycling industry resulting in a surprising business benefit. Prior to the installation of the ControlByNet solution, drivers for the recycling company would have a set route every day or week and would go to their pick-ups which could have bins overflowing or ones with barely any metal.

The recycling company and ControlByNet made a decision to try monitoring the bin capacity from the cloud. The project started with 2 bins and has grown to more than twenty bins in multiple states. Now drivers can look in on their bins and decide when they need to drive to the location for a pick up – not only saving staff time but time on the road and crucial to the environment – gas and truck emissions.

Executives can check driver on-time records, clean-up habits and do what is needed to keep the customer cheerful. These remote sites contain only network cameras and supporting hardware, with no recording device on site making it a true representation of an IP-based system, and providing unlimited expansion and modifications for the future. The ability to check in on the bins remotely also offers top management the opportunity to look in at all of the remote sites from the central monitoring station or from any other location via web browser. Future Forward Hosted video is one of the hottest trends in the video surveillance security market and when combined with the latest advances in IP technology solutions, there is a great opportunity for cloud-based CCTV security to experience quick expansion. A recent study by Lusax, a research group at Lund College in Sweden, found that the installation of a mid-sized IP video surveillance system costs less than installing a corresponding analog system. “Based on our pre-eminence in key industries including recycling, multi-site associations, homeowner's associations, warehouse and stores, we expect to see continued expansion and a rise in overall adoption of cloud-based video surveillance,” added Unusual. “Whether hosted video, onsite video with hosted central authentication or our guard station solution, we work with our clients daily to ensure our solution is meeting their current desires while also prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.

Our objective is to provide our consumers, both small and large, one integrated solution that allows them to access their security on their terms and device of choice,” About ControlByNet (controlbynet) ControlByNet provides the most advanced flexible hosted and managed IP-based surveillance solution on the market. ControlByNet’s advanced software is the foundation for the new security surveillance financial model. The hierarchal nature of the software permits a single log-in with multiple levels of access from any (Web) location which leverages existing concern resources.

With years of development, their software solution is flexible, future-proof and engineered to lead the industry. Product offerings include i-flashback LOCAL and REMOTE and ip-LookOUT, its guard monitoring application. While the i-flashback interface is as easy to use as a nanny cam, both versions of the software are complicated enough to control hundreds of remote cameras from a single browser ; including Internet Explorer, Firefox or maybe an iPhone or iPad. They now use AXIS for remotely hosted cameras but will expand to others as makers provide IP cameras that are presumed highly efficient on the network.
